Terms of Service

01Agreement

These terms apply to the Wyenfos website, apps and monitoring service, and to sensors and gateways bought or rented through us. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.

02The service

Wyenfos records temperature and related readings from sensors at your sites, displays them, predicts likely excursions, sends alerts to the contacts you set, and keeps records of readings, alerts and actions. Features available depend on your plan.

03What Wyenfos does and does not decide

• AI predictions are early warnings based on past patterns. They can be wrong and are not a guarantee that an excursion will or will not happen.
• Your trained staff decide what to do with stock, following your own SOPs.
• Decisions about whether exposed product is still usable are made by your QA team using manufacturers' guidance. Wyenfos does not make product release decisions.
• Wyenfos supports, but does not replace, your obligations under storage, distribution and food-safety regulations, including keeping your own SOPs, training and validated equipment.

04Your responsibilities

• Install sensors as instructed, in the units and positions they are assigned to, and keep gateways powered and connected.
• Keep ranges, alarm delays and escalation contacts accurate and up to date, and make sure the people on your chains have agreed to receive calls and messages.
• Keep independent local alarms or backup procedures where your regulations or SOPs require them.
• Keep login details secure and give each user access suited to their role.
• Use the service lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload it.

05Alert delivery

Calls, SMS, WhatsApp, email and push notifications depend on phone networks, messaging platforms and devices outside our control. We work to deliver every alert promptly and keep a record of each attempt, but cannot guarantee delivery or response. Escalation chains with more than one person reduce this risk.

06Sensors and gateways

• Purchased hardware becomes yours on payment and is covered by the warranty stated at the time of sale.
• Rented hardware remains ours. Rental includes calibration and swap-outs on the schedule for your plan; please return rented units in working order when the rental ends.
• Accuracy figures apply when sensors are within calibration and used within their stated range.

07Free trial

The free trial covers monitoring software on up to 5 sensors for 60 days. Rented trial sensors must be returned or moved to a paid plan at the end of the trial. We may end or change the trial offer for new sign-ups at any time.

08Plans and payment

Plans are charged per sensor per month, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Hardware is charged separately. Alert calls and messages are included up to the allowance for your plan; unusual volumes may be billed at cost after notice. Prices may change at renewal with advance notice.

09Your data

You own the readings and records created for your sites. We use them to provide and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your records at any time while your account is active.

10Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times and to schedule maintenance outside peak hours. Sensors keep recording locally during outages and back-fill records when service resumes. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a core feature of your plan during a paid term without notice.

11Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of stock, product, revenue or indirect losses arising from temperature events, missed or delayed alerts, or decisions made using the service. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

12Ending the service

You can stop at the end of any billing period. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or remain unpaid after notice. Before closure you will have the opportunity to export your records.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute.
